We have arrived at the end of this series “Shifting Foundations” and capping it off with one of my favorite topics - spirituality. Over the last two months we have explored numerous aspects of life that not just ground us but opens our capacity to live well & truly thrive. The crown on top is our spiritual nature or practice.
I love the quote that goes something like “we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.” All you need to do is look at the stars in the sky and try to contemplate our galaxy to reaffirm the awe-mazement of our existence. If you like less woo-woo and more academia, then just look to quantum physics to confirm we are all just particles of energy and know nothing about nothing or everything about everything, manifested as consciousness.
It could be my Scorpio side that loves deep conversations but what I am most interested in knowing about you is: what are your spiritual beliefs? When I say spiritual beliefs I’m not necessarily referring to religious, dogmatic or structured systems of belief; what I want to know is: What sets your soul on fire? What moments do you live for and why? What drives you to live the life that you do?
These are the questions and conversations I want to have with you.
Your answers offer a glimpse into your inner world and who you are at your core. Regardless of how you were raised, what your background or experience was, in a spiritual sense, one might say, who you are was determined before you were born and will last long after you are gone. What happens in the middle is up to you.
As we close this series, I offer you this to ponder further:
