Aloha mai kākou,
I am writing you from “winter” weather in South Maui. This morning it was a cool 63 degrees in Kihei this morning. Cold enough for me to wear a sweater ;) Last week a big storm hit the islands which turned the road outside my house into a river. The aftermath of the flooding in Kihei left about 2 feet of a muddy mess along the roads and in some cases bad flooding. As a Washington raised girl, I love the rain and the rare occasions it rains on the leeward side of the island. The emergency flood alerts and real-deal flooding, not so much… A big mahalo to the Maui County workers and everyone else who was out over the weekend cleaning up!
To go along with this rainy weather, I made you a playlist. This is a good one for rainy days, heartbreaks or making pancakes on a lazy Sunday morning. Listen here on Spotify.
For today’s Tuesday Tip, going to keep it short & sweet:
“You are greater than you think you are.
You are capable beyond all imagination.
You are here for a purpose.
Let your soul light the way.”
All my best,
Naomi
just a little bit of mud….
Listening! Thanks!
